Mildura Paddle Steamers has been a Family Owned and Operated business since 1955. We offer a number of cruises, departing Daily from the Mildura Wharf, on board either the Paddle Steamer Melbourne (built in 1912), the Paddle Vessel Rothbury (built in 1881) and the Paddle Boat Mundoo (built in 1987).
As part of establishing an irrigation system for the region in the late 19th century, the Chaffey Brothers installed huge pumps at Psyche Bend and began pumping water from the Murray to Kings Billabong.
The Old Wentworth Gaol is the oldest of the Australian designed gaols. It was built during 1879-1881 and operated until 1927. Now welcomes visitors to experience Gaol life from the inside.
